Proving that you can achieve quality and quantity, songwriter and producer Bullion (aka Nathan Jenkins) has announced his second EP of 2020 with its blissful lead track 'Strike A Light'. Continuing down the same sonic path of soothing electronic pop that we heard on the warmly-titled We Had A Good Time, 'Strike A Light' is rich and comforting, like the aural equivalent of lighting a scented candle. Flickering arpeggiators, spaced-out pads and reverb-laden beats interact easily beneath Bullion's laid-back vocals that singularly sit at the forefront of the mix in the verse, before layering up and becoming more surreal for far-reaching the chorus. Bullion's forthcoming EP Heaven Is Over will arrive digitally on the 25th of September and physically on the 11th of December via Friends of Jagjaguwar. -Holly Mullineaux
